5x112 conversion

Parts needed:

S2 front hubs with bearing housing (82mm bearing)



on the rear: S2 avant/limo rear hubs



OR, A4 B5 rear hubs but with the complete brakes! the a4 rear hubs are wider!

CV joints from an audi 80 b4 2.6 or 2.8 quattro. It must be quattro! FWD have different front cv joints!

Front CV joints are ok on the rear too. 38 teeth on outside, 30 teeth inside.

By changing only the CV joints, there is no need of changing the axles. The S2 axles DO NOT FIT to the compi gearbox and diff! They have different flanges!

yes, the wheels will be more out, so the rear will be wider. that is bad

s4 is the same as a4 b5. only the CV joints measures are different a4 75 teeth, s4 82 teeth.

it is better to buy s2 rear hubs, they are not so expensive...

OK,thanks ,so i well and do that order same hubs from OOOO center,bydavai maybe yuo nou hubs code for rear and front,i Welbie appreciated, and why rear bad ween is wider ? it was by more understering or ? porsche has wide rear, bade is fun you got some drift.,and looke you got same spacers on you compi with r-18 ,sou if u install wider hubs you don't nide spacers anymore ,so I'm rithe or wrong,because i wont good looking wilse like you s8 r-18 ore porsche style twisters Aloise r-18

if it is too wide the tyre will rub into the fender. this is why it is bad

i have spacers because the wheels are ET 48. if they were et 37 like the original, i wont need spacers. i dont use spacers with the 16" avus with winter tyres, as they are et 37...

fore all 683 euro

for this money you can get used parts and save money. rears should be 260€, fronts 200€. used!

wear in ebay i found only reare for 200 euro,is difficult to find front one

Just to add,

rear B5 5x112 conversion:

rear ABS sensor is totaly different, i.e it bolts into the hub

you use rear hub, brake disc and pad carrier
B4 rear caliper, pads (same as B5) and handbrake setup bolts right onto this!

fronts, dont forget to use the S2 brake disk, and G60 calipers and pad carriers

i also have a partnumber for CV joints that were only £26GBP each for the fronts

From where you can find CV joints for £26?? I just checked from local shop and they were +100€ each.

Just finished conversion for my compi. Everything was bolt-on like supposed to be, but I had some problems with SKF CV joint in front. Seems that SKF VKJA 3013 is bit bigger, I had to grind housing little bit, otherwise joint got stuck when tightening hub bolt.

yes, the same happened to me. i thought it was a problem of my hubs, but looks like the cv joints are the issue here...

Ah, I thought it was because of SKF joint, since I checked from catalog that Spidan has 88mm outer diameter, while SKF has 90mm.
