ECU tuning Empty ECU tuning

Post by $küll Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:55 pm

So, has anyone try to chip tune the ACE ecu?

I will try it in a short time, at SKN. The figures are +15hp and +10NM.

Including the other mods i have made (60mm exhaust, tubular manifold, throttle body) i think it will be great.

Maybe not what chiptuning tuning the engine after such modifications will get a power increase to any appreciable level, but I think first you should comply have any sharper camshafts and adjustable circle.

Ok, i found it. What is the voltae between 23 pin of ecu and earth in your car in idle ? This pin is VAF potentiometer 2nd pin. mine at idle shows 1,46V, but Autodata says that it must be 0,4-0,75 at idle. Tried adjust potentiometer with screw near connector, but it ranges from 1,40V till to 1,60. What next ? Change potentiometer ? Smile

Originally it is located under the black silicon shield near the jack of VAF potentiometer, but soldered one, sho looks like tihs: ECU tuning Preset

instead of old one (10Kohms) and now can change resistance in ranges 0..10Kohms, and so change the voltage to the ecu in ranges from 0..5V Smile
