Production number

We all know that Audi made 2500 competition's - but are they numbered in any way?
Like xxxx/2500 from the chassi numbers?

they aren't numbered.

In mobile.de there are a compi for sell what is numbered.

My information from Audi: The compis are numbered.
In the year the first owner buyed the compi he had become a key, there was an secundary badge with the number xxxx/2500. Im still in work to find out my number. My luck, i had my compi from an old man, he has buy it brandnew.
But he doesn't know the number.
My friend at Audi is working to find it out.
When i have my information i tell it.

Personally I'm looking forward to.

I'm refreshing this topic because I want to know production number of my compi too

I've got one more theory about where it can be written. In an old Fahrzeugbrief on the last folded smaller page on the bottom there are "Vermerke des Hersteller" where are 7 numbers:
1st (I guess) is production number, in my case it's 00811,
2nd is "8C20B5 which determines "Audi 80 B4 Quattro 2.0 16V",
3rd is "H1H1SX" which determines upholstery color
4th - xxx factory radio unlock code
5th - xxxxxx long number over 500.000, maybe production number of all Audi 80 B4 (???) but it's different than 6 last digits from VIN
6th - "96" no idea
7th - xxx the same as 4th - radio unlock code (???)

Does anybody who has original competition keychain with number and also got old style Fahrzeugbrief can confirm that these numbers are the same?
