transponder codes

Does something correlated between transponder codes and engine? Is it the pin codes? I totally forgot the transponder codes or maybe I dont know indeed. Is it the pin codes?

I try to find out my car transponder tpye.

is that the transponder for the ignition? my compi does not have it. i doubt you will be able to reprogram it.

I dont know what's the difference between ignition transponder and key transponder
