Mikko's Comp from Finland
Here's my latest purchase. Still on winter tyres, but for summer I desided to go a bit different way and got a set of new 16" steel rims. Those will have the std 205/55-16 tyres on.
This comp does not have modifications done, I have replaced the kamei grille already with stock one. For me it looks better with four rings than without.
Will post some pictures with the summer tires on...when they are on... still no rush to change them here...

Thanks! Now couple of pictures with the summertires on... need to get 15 - 20mm spacers to front. At rear the wheels sit just in right place, but in front they are a bit too deep.
The steel rims are 6,5X16" with et31. Tires 205/55-16.

Thanks!
Well, first need to just get it in decent condition. It is not too bad actually but little things here and there. I'm lucky that this one does not have any extra speaker holes cut on door panels or screwmarks on dashboard. Only issue inside is the common wear on drivers seat.
Outside it needs some paint, but nothing dramatic. I will not, at least now, repaint it completely.
Usually I like to keep the look at least close to original, so no mods on the way. But I like those S2 sideskirts, those would be good... Also the extensions to rear spoiler would be very nice to have, even more as they are original extras. Anyway, I have mudflaps waiting so those will be installed soon.

Thanks. Inside looks now good too as I washed the seats and floors with the wet&dry vacuum. It really made a huge difference. Now I cannot allow my kids to enter the car anymore... well, difficult not to =)
Oh yes, the wealther is now getting better, it is around +5 now, sun shines and it should get warmer next week.

Head gasket - blown, heater matrix - blown...
Not enough that the head gasket came to end of it's life the pressure that was developed due to that, blew also the heater matrix inside.
Well, got me something to do for few evenings. But, it is good time to replace the hydr.lifters, valve stems and cam chain. If I just could get my hands on ABF or KR intake cam now... Should I go also for the tubular exhaust manifold at the same time...

uff, if the heater matrix is blown, than you need to remove all the carpets and foam under the carpet. it will never dry inside the car.
the tubular exhaust is an awesome mod. much work but also much gain.

Re: Mikko's Comp from Finland
Yes I know, but as when the dash and seats are out, it is easier to take out the carpet and foam. and least the foam needs to be replaced. The carpet I will re-wash with the wet vacuumcleaner. Just waiting now some time to do the repair...

to dry the foam and carpet, you need to hang them so one corner is pointing towards the ground.
Re: Mikko's Comp from Finland
Thanks for the tip!

so the water will not evaporate, it cant because of the material is like a sponge. when you will hang it, you will see all the water will go to the lowest part of the foam, and you will be able to squeeze it out.
Re: Mikko's Comp from Finland
Got today the new heater matrix (55€). I hope I have time next week to start with the matrix replacement. I will do that first as for me it is not as "fun" as the head gasket change. Save the best for last =)
Edit:
Also full head gasket kit (Victor Reinz) ordered now. Still need to get new lifters and cam chain.

S**t, it is not the head gasket... most likely stuck thermostat. Water is not circulating to radiator at all. That is also why the cooling fans never started to run... need to replace thermostat first. Lycky I did not take the head off yet...
