Audi Competition Quattro R - [NOR]
When I bought this car, it was in a bad shape. The engine was leaking oil and water, suspension was not working, loose wires everywhere and it looks like some drunk guy painted it. Instead of fix it to original shape, I do it my way; the way it should be, with a Audi l5 20vt engine!
Some plans:
Engine
-2.5L 20vt l5 (X)
Transmisson
-01E 6-speed (X)
-5 bolt wheelhubs (X)
Suspension
-H&R Clubsport NR-NS coilovers (X)
-Fixed front top mountings (X)
-Powerflex bushings (X)
-Ass. alu bushings (X)
Brakes
-Rear: S4(c4) rear brakes with A3 front discs (X)
-XYZ 355 or Porsche big-reds (X)
Wheels
-BBS RX-II 18x8,5 ET 32 (X)
(X): Installed
(X): Got this part, not ready/installed
(X): Missing
This list will be updated with more details.

Re: Audi Competition Quattro R - [NOR]
Small update!
The rims has just arrived!
Have installed new wheel bearings for the 5-bolt hubs. But still many parts missing to get them installed, so meanwhile I'm going to restore those parts I'm going to use from the car and put on the new bushings. Waiting for a package from 034ms with alu bushings for the subframe.
More info and pictures to come

Short weekend, short update
Here are some of the parts allmost ready for painting.
A bit more sanding was before I started painting them.
Very glossy paint. Me like!
Rear brake calipers (urS4), overhauled and painted.

Pics!
Paint has dried, ready for new bushings
I think it looks good considering it's painted with a paint brush
Test mounted the rear break to see how much spacing I need to make them fit. 1 mm spacing and it fits perfectly.
One of the car; Everything will be dismounted and changed/fixed up

Re: Audi Competition Quattro R - [NOR]
im sure you will need to buy the new rear tie rods, they are corroded and you will proprably need to cut them from the subframe. they are pretty expensive too :/
Re: Audi Competition Quattro R - [NOR]
They don't look so bad, and they seemed firm. I will take a closer look when I'm removing the rear subframe. New ones cost from €35 + shipping each, and that's not so bad.$küll wrote:im sure you will need to buy the new rear tie rods, they are corroded and you will proprably need to cut them from the subframe. they are pretty expensive too :/
